

Harrison, Elva Murray 91, a long-time resident of Jacksonville, FL, died Thursday the 9th of February, 2012, at North Fulton Hospital Roswell, GA. She moved to the Atlanta area in 2010 to be near her daughter and three of her grandchildren.
She was born November 27, 1920 in Somerset County, PA to Mary and Frank Murray and is predeceased by two brothers, Richard and Ben and a sister, Esther.
Mrs. Harrison was the widow of the late Samuel Charles Harrison. She is survived by her two children, Elva (Mimi) Ingram, Woodstock, GA and Clay Harrison and his wife Sydney, Glendale, CA. She also leaves behind six grandchildren, Brian Ingram (Teresa) Canton, GA, Melanie Colgin (Brian) Atlanta, GA , Alexandra Ingram, Marietta, GA and Taylor, Thomas and Charlotte Harrison all of Glendale, CA. She had recently been blessed with her first great-grandchild, Vivienne Colgin.
Mrs. Harrison was a long time member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. She served as a Workman’s Compensation Supervisor for Ryder Truck Lines before her retirement.
A memorial service will be held at Woodstock Funeral Home, 8855 South Main St. Woodstock, GA 30188 on Sunday February 12, 2012 at 4:00 pm with interment in Arlington National Cemetery.
