Gary Mervin Arnold, age 76, of Canton, GA passed away April 19, 2018 following a lengthy illness. Gary was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend and will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 53 years Nancy Arnold of Canton, GA, son, Russ Arnold and his wife Linda of Baldwinsville, NY, daughters, Cheryl Lewis of Woodstock, GA and Christine Peart and her husband Alex of Canton, GA, 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and other extended family. Gary was preceded in death by daughter Teresa Chapin. A Celebration of Life service will be held Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Woodstock Funeral Home Chapel. Minister Mike Teston will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday, April 23, 2018 from 5 until 7 pm at the funeral home.
