H Boyd Burnette

Mr. H. Boyd Burnette, 77, of Marietta, GA passed away on Easter Sunday, April 1, 2018. Boyd was born on February 13, 1941 in Union County, NC to the late Hoyle and Sadie Burnette. After graduating from East Mecklenburg High School, Boyd began a successful career in sales and eventually founded H. Boyd Burnette and Associates Insurance Agency. Boyd will be remembered as an honest, strong, and devout Christian. His faith was always evident by the smile on his face and the way he treated those around him. He drew his strength from this faith, and from the dedication and love for his wife of 57 years, Linda Burnette. Affectionately known as Be-pa, he will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends. He leaves behind his wife, Linda Burnette; sons, Barry Burnette (Ana Rosa), Brian Burnette (Alicia) and Brent Burnette (Sonia); daughters, Nina Burnette and Lisa Richardson (Michael); grandchildren, Sean, Claire, Alex, Cohen, Grace, Leah, Joel, Seth, Brayten and Lavena; guardian grandson, Santiago; great-grandson, Parker; brothers, Ronnie, Donnie and Lloyd; and sisters, Carolyn and Judy. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Woodstock Funeral Home, followed by a reception at the Noonday Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 4121 Canton Rd., Marietta, GA.
