H C Strickland, age 83, of Auburn, Maine, formerly of Woodstock, Georgia passed away November 17, 2014. Mr. Strickland proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. After returning from the Marines he was a Captain with American Airlines for 27 years. Mr. Strickland was preceded in death by his wife Mary Frances Strickland. He is survived by sons, Scott Strickland and his wife Kelly and Mark Strickland and his wife Jill all of Woodstock, Georgia, sister, Mary Agbincola, 6 grandchildren and significant other, Constance Bishop of Maine. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 11:00 am at Hillside United Methodist Church in Woodstock with Pastor Linda Evans officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia at 1:00 pm. Online condolences may be offered at www.woodstockfuneralhome.com.
