Harry Edward Martin III

He is a member of The Oglethorpe Club and The Chatham Club in Savannah and is a past member of Druid Hills Golf Club and The Atlanta Athletic Club. He is a lifelong member of the Presbyterian Church. He owned his own building company in Atlanta for over 50 years. Ed attended Savannah High School and graduated from The University of Georgia with Honors in ROTC D.M.G. He served as President of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity at The University of Georgia.

He is preceded in death by sisters, Harriet Whittemore and Nell Stewart. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Allred Martin; sister, Patty Smith; children, Edward Martin, David Martin, Michael Martin and Ellen Marbut; step-children, Leah Dawson, Roslyn Franklin and Rosanne Jones; ten grandchildren and six step-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers please send donations to The Shriners Hospital for Children.

Service will be held at 11am on Monday August 8th, 2016 at St. John's Episcopal Church, 1 West Macon St., Savannah, GA.
