

Mrs. Janet M. Potts, 83, of Woodstock, GA peacefully passed away in her home on December 18, 2016. Janet was born on February 22, 1933 in Dallas, TX to the late Norvin and Kay Burnard. She enjoyed a career in the food service industry, retiring from both Frosty Acre Brand and Select Marketing. Janet was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was the matriarch of her family and was so nurturing that many credit her for their upbringing. She was a selfless and Godly woman. If Janet wasn’t at home tending to her family, she could be found serving at City on a Hill United Methodist Church. Janet will be deeply missed by so many. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady L. Potts. Janet leaves behind her son, Kelly Wolfe (Betty), daughter, Denise Goforth (Kenny), grandchildren, Morgan Hamil, Ian Wolfe and Cassidy Wolfe, great-grandchildren, Noelle Barth, Marley McElyea and Hanna Grace Wolfe, nephew Mike Burnard and great-nephew, Jeffrey Burnard. Also surviving are many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 11:00am in the chapel of Woodstock Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, Roswell. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
