Mrs. Geneva “Jenny” Ruth Williams, 88, of Acworth, GA passed away March 19, 2015. She was born on May 4, 1926 in Calhoun, GA to the late Bud and Parthenia Payne. After graduating from Atco High School, Jenny worked for the Bell Bomber Plant, now Lockheed-Martin, during WWII. In 1945 Jenny married the love of her life, Harold, and together they built a beautiful family. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and showing her guests the meaning of southern hospitality. Jenny leaves behind her beloved husband of 69 years, Harold L. Williams, children, Brenda Jones, Lloyd Williams, Jr, Linda Smith and Troy Williams, 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and brother, Tommy Payne. A funeral service will be Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 3:30pm in the chapel of Woodstock Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 20, 2015 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Arrangements are under the direction of Woodstock Funeral Home, 8855 Main St, Woodstock, GA 30188.
