Joseph Robert Leeper

Joseph Robert Leeper, age 55, of Acworth, GA passed away April 28, 2012 at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Joe loved life and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He proudly served his country in the US Army from 1980 until 1986 where he served as an Air Defense Radar Repairer. Joe was an amateur historian and a real Civil War buff and he also loved gardening and landscaping. He was employed by Kennesaw State University as an electrician. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Leeper of Acworth, daughter, Sarah Leeper of Woodstock, sons, Nathan Leeper and Nicholas Leeper both of Woodstock, mother, Marge Leeper of St. Cloud, FL, brothers, Andrew Leeper of Orlando, FL and Jeffrey Leeper of St. Cloud, FL. Joe was preceded in death by his father Frank John Leeper. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 1, 2012 from 6pm until 8pm at Woodstock Funeral Home, 8855 Main St. Woodstock, GA 30188.
