

Born with a vibrant spirit and a heart full of life, Sloan brought joy to all who knew him. Known for his fun-loving energy, quick wit, and generous heart, Sloan had a way of lighting up every room he entered. He was a devoted husband, a loving son & brother, and a loyal friend.
Sloan had a deep love of travel, finding joy in exploring the world alongside his beloved wife Kate Caracappa, who preceded him in death. Together, they created a lifetime of memories in the time they had, sharing many adventures.
Sloan had a deep love for his dogs, treating them not just as pets, but as cherished companions.
A passionate sports fan, he never missed a game and proudly supported his teams through every season.
He is survived by his loving mother, Wanda Ruzicka, and his brother, Tyler Ruzicka, along with family and countless friends who will miss him dearly.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 18th, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Christ the King Cathedral on Peachtree Road in Atlanta, GA. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Sloan’s remarkable life.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations be made to a local animal rescue in Sloan’s honor.
