

In celebration of life of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and Auntie Lamercie.Marie Rose Lamercie Anglade Jean-Bart was born in Aquin, Haiti on December 26, 1925 to Nelia Henry and Louis Anglade. She met and married Kenol Jean-Bart in March 1946. From this union 12 kids were born. In 1965 she relocated from Acquin to Port-Au-Prince where she lived until 1982. She traveled to New York to live, from there she moved to Boston, Massachusetts in 1989 to stay with her beloved Mayotte and Kevin. She has been living in Acworth, Georgia since 2001 until the day she died on January 9, 2010.Our mother “Mancici” as we called her was a stay at home mother. With the help of our grandmother Manboye and our Aunt Cleve, she raised 11 of us. Her life was not easy being a single mother, but through it all she survived.She liked to cook, bake and take care of babies. Many of them called her grannie. She enjoyed smoking, drinking coffee, doing crosswords and jigsaw puzzles and also loved cats.She survived her husband’s decease on January 9, 1975 and her 4 older children, Evelyne, Gerald, Ketty and Marie Michelle. 8 of her children are left to cherish her memories, Josy, Evans, Nicole, Marthe “Soeurette”, Arnoux “Frerot”, Thomas, Anne “Chantale” and her favorite and beloved Mayotte “Martine”. Her sons and daughter-in-law, Musset Louissant, Emmanuel Jean Paul, Lenord Jeudy, Gilberto Ortis. Solange Jean-Bart, Simone Demoulin Jean-Bart, Marie Loudes Sylveste Jean-Bart, and Dahliene Hightower. Her brothers and sister, Leopold Anglade, Lucien Conlouges, Anthony Conlouges, Edouard Memtor, Yves Memtor, and Yvette Conlanges. Her step-children, Yvon Closiele, Sony, Claude, Peirre Richard Kettel, Sandra and Dukerns. Her god-mother, Mrs. Luc, cousin, Philomene Yacinthe and Madeleine Henry. 36 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 25 nephews and nieces. Many, many friends that loved and cherished her.
