Leonard Ralph Vilchez

Mr. Leonard “Lenny” Ralph Vilchez, 74, of Woodstock, GA passed away June 4, 2016. Lenny was born on December 10, 1941 in Tampa, FL to the late Richard and Rose Vilchez. He is a graduate of Hillsboro High School and attended a technical university in Washington, D.C. He served in the Army Reserves for 8 years. Lenny retired from Emory as Producer/Director for Emory Medical Television. He then served in the Holly Springs Volunteer Fire Department and had a third career as a Cherokee County Sherriff’s Deputy. Lenny was also an Arson Investigator. But his passion lay with hand gun training and he was a Fire Arms Instructor at Pannell’s Firearms. He also enjoyed sky diving and photography. Lenny was a devoted husband and father. He will be remembered as a kind, generous and congenial friend and public servant. Lenny leaves behind his wife, Cindy Divine-Vilchez and children, Aaron and Katrina Vilchez. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016 from 3-6pm at the family’s home in the Fairways at 520 Fairway Dr, Woodstock, GA 30189.
