January 31, 1946 – December 19, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maria Nelia Lozada Santiago, a truly remarkable woman whose boundless love, extraordinary generosity, and unyielding determination touched the lives of all who knew her.
Born on Thursday, January 31, 1946 in Las Piñas, Philippines, Maria was a shining example of intelligence and compassion. Her sharp mind and relentless drive allowed her to accomplish so much in her lifetime, both professionally and personally. Yet, it was her giving nature that defined her most. Whether helping a stranger in need, supporting her community, or offering an unwavering shoulder to her family and friends, she gave selflessly and tirelessly, expecting nothing in return.
A devoted mother, Maria poured her heart into her family. Her children remember her as a guiding light—always there with words of wisdom, or a reminder of the value of hard work and kindness. She taught by example, showing that true success comes from helping others and loving deeply.
In her professional life, Maria was equally remarkable. Her work ethic and determination earned her the admiration of colleagues and peers. Yet, she always made time for her family and those she loved, balancing her responsibilities with grace and a smile that could brighten any room.
Maria is survived by her siblings Crisostomo, Priscilla, Amador, Aurora and Claro, and children Elaine, Rommel and Priscilla, who will forever cherish her memory. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and inspiration that will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Though she is no longer with us, Maria’s light will continue to shine in the acts of kindness and love she inspired. Rest in peace Mary.
