

Max Gray Cain, born on December 15, 1929, in Winston Salem, passed away on December 17, 2025, at the age of 96. He was a resident of Woodstock, Georgia. Max Gray Cain went to be with the Lord on December 17, 2025. He was born on December 15, 1929, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, to Guy S. Cain and Flossie S. Cain.
Max was a longtime resident of Wetumpka, Alabama, where he lived for 39 years with his beloved wife, Evelyn Cain, who preceded him in death on January 16, 2020. He is survived by his brother, Sloan Cain of Ceres, Virginia, and his sister, Alice Burleigh of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. He is also survived by his sons: Steve Cain (Lindy), Stan Cain (Darlene), and Greg Cain; and stepchildren: Toni Long (Eddie), Greg Morrison (Angie), and Temple Adams (Louise). Max leaves behind four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and four step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy S. Cain and Flossie S. Cain, and his brothers, Avon Cain and Tom Cain. A Committal with Military Honors will be held at Ga. National Cemetery on April 13th 1:30 pm. 1080 Scott Hudgens Dr
