Pamela Anne Buerki, 77, of Marietta, Georgia, passed in the early hours of August 13, 2018. Pam was born on January 18, 1941, in London, England to the late Frank and Edith Ludditt. She spent her early years of childhood in a boarding school outside London to avoid Blitzkrieg during WWII. Pam came to America when she was 18, aboard the Queen Elizabeth. The image of the Statue of Liberty stayed with her throughout her life. Before marrying the love of her life, Roger Buerki, Pam worked for Mercantile Trust in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a loving and supportive wife and mother. Pam was kind and honest and quick to smile and always showed concern for others above herself. She was a confidant and problem solver for the neighborhood, her friends and family. Pam is going to be immensely missed by her family and all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. She leaves behind her husband of 55 loving years, Roger Buerki; daughters, Karen Buerki and Susan Crutchley; grandsons, Preston and Mason Crutchley; sister, Doreen Chang and brother, Kenneth Ludditt. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 12-2:00pm at Woodstock Funeral Home.
