

Paul Santinelli, 86, son of Antonio and Maria Carmela Santinelli and loving husband of Antonia, passed away on March 3, 2019 at his home in Woodstock, Georgia. Paul was born on January 25, 1933 in the Silver Lake section of Belleville, New Jersey. One of eight children, he graduated from Belleville High School, and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force upon graduation. He served from 1951 to 1955, and was a veteran of the Korean War. After returning from Korea, Paul established Santelli’s Italian Bakery in Montclair, New Jersey before changing careers, joining Peerless Tube Company until his retirement in 1998. He and Antonia relocated to Georgia in 2009. Along with Antonia, his wife of 62 years, Paul is survived by his three sons and their wives, Anthony and Debbie, Angelo and Jane, and Paul and Kathleen. He is also survived by grandchildren and spouses, Carissa and Andrew Perine and Jared and Caitlin Santinelli, and their daughter, Lydia, along with grandchildren Caroline, Thomas, and Maggie Santinelli. Throughout his life, Paul enjoyed watching sports and activities that involved his family. He remained a lifelong fan of the New York Giants and frequently attended Georgia Tech football games. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Visitation will be held at 12:00 pm, Thursday, March 28th, 2019, and a memorial service at 1:00 pm, at Woodstock Funeral Home in Woodstock, Georgia, followed by a military funeral service at the Veteran’s National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. at 3:00 pm.
