Quentin Dana Grubbs Jr., known to all as Dana, was born on February 19, 1962, in Athens, Georgia, and passed away on January 12th, surrounded by love after a courageous battle fought with unwavering strength and determination.
Dana was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Kim; his daughter, Ashley; his son-in-law, Bodie; his cherished granddaughter, Roklyn; and his two older sisters, Vickie and Cindy, all of whom meant the world to him.
Known by everyone as the biggest University of Georgia fan there ever was, Dana lived and breathed Bulldog pride. His love for UGA wasn’t just a hobby—it was part of who he was, and it showed in everything he did. Some of his most treasured memories were made with his family, especially with his girls—his wife Kim, his daughter Ashley, and his granddaughter Roklyn—who were the light of his life.
Dana’s love for his people was deep, loyal, and undeniable. Anyone who knew him knew he was a fighter—strong-willed, determined, and resilient to the very end. He fought like a Dawg always, with grit, heart, and courage, never backing down and never giving up.
Dana’s legacy lives on in the memories he created, the lessons he taught, the love he gave so freely, and the strength he showed in every chapter of his life. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
