

Bob was born in 1944 in Greenville, Georgia to the late Benjamin Irvin and Elizabeth Timberlake Gilbert. He attended college at the University of Georgia in Athens where he received a degree in Finance. He spent most of his work career at NCR receiving numerous awards for far exceeding sales quotas which eventually led to his position of Regional Vice President.
Bob was a force of nature, determined to excel in all areas of life and certainly to have fun in the process. He was often surrounded by many close friends who thought of him as family. Bob had a generous heart full of love and compassion for others. Bob had his passions, like: Georgia Football, Distinguished Clothes, a good cigar, playing golf, cooking & entertaining, NASCAR and attending horse races.
Bob was predeceased by his father Irvin, his mother Elizabeth (Betty), and his son Michael Braden (Brad). He is survived by his daughter, Brittany Sulcer, her husband Kevin Sulcer and his four grandchildren Ciara, Addison, Dylan and Tristan.
Bob’s celebration of life we be held at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 18 at the home of Kevin and Brittany Sulcer. Friends are welcome to attend to celebrate Bob’s life. Please contact Brittany Sulcer directly for further details.
