Sandra June Bryant, Age 70, was born on November 23, 1947, left this world in the early morning of July 22, 2018, after a short battle with a very aggressive cancer. The family would like to extend our sincere gratitude for family and friends that have been there for our Mom and family during this fight. We also would appreciate everyone’s continued thoughts and support as we try to move forward.
Sande was born in Sheridan, Wyoming and moved to Sparks, Nevada, as a teenager with the Shreve family where she would later meet her husband, Roy Bryant. They settled in Georgia and started the Bryant family. She had two sons, Roy Jr and Michael and taught us what family was. She would later become a teacher and this remained her passion for over 30 years.
She was also very talented in ceramics, passed on to her from her parents. She enjoyed travelling and visiting with friends and relatives. The Bryant family traversed the US too many times to count and we have so many memories it is hard to believe there is not another trip scheduled. After retirement, it was hard to keep up with what they were doing next. We always kidded them about winning our inheritance back at the casinos, but were always happy to see them enjoying life. All of this was done around their two grandkids, Colin and Connor, her second set of boys to help raise. They kept both their Grandparents busy and always on the move. She is survived by her husband Roy-her son Michael (spouse Laura) and her son Roy Jr. (spouse Ron). She is also survived by two grandsons, Colin and Connor, brothers Gene and Gary, sister Sherry and lots of nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces, as well as her cats, Patches and Duchesse. She is pre-deceased by Lucille and Gene (parents), Sheila (sister), and Randy (brother). Visitation will be held Saturday, July 28, 2018, 11 to 3 at Woodstock Funeral Home, Woodstock, Georgia, followed by a memorial service from 3 to 4. Sande enjoyed life and requested casual clothing for the visitation and service. Food is being catered.
Flowers are welcome.
