A proud father, devoted fiancé, beloved son, uncle, nephew and friend, Scott had a larger-than-life personality that was simply infectious. He was funny, adventurous, spontaneous, and loved to tell stories. Scott found joy in spending time with his family and friends, hunting, fishing, and front porch living.
A graduate of Roswell High School, Scott attended North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. In his youth, he excelled at and enjoyed playing multiple sports. He was so proud of our World Series Champion Atlanta Braves, and a huge fan of all things Auburn. War Eagle!
Scott is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Steadman, Joy Hope, Bill Lindsay and Jeanette Lindsay.
Scott’s memory will be cherished by his fiancé, Sarah Hanratty; children, William Jr., Braedon, Cecily and Colton; parents, Joseph Robert Lindsay and Leslie Lindsay; in-laws, Mike and Maureen Hanratty; siblings, Sara Bowling (Adam), Joe Lindsay Jr. (Melany) , Leigh Ceci (Len) and Beth Miller (Tim); aunt, Betty Legg, who treated him like a loving grandmother; nieces, Allison and Gracie; nephew, Dillon; and many other nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
