Mrs. Shirley June Wilson died Friday January 15, 2016 at Northside Cherokee Hospital. Born in Barnesville, Georgia, she was a longtime Smyrna resident. She was a life member of the Smyrna Moose Lodge. She enjoyed refinishing furniture, reading, sewing, and many other projects. Shirley owned her own cleaning company, Clean As A Whistle, for 25 years. She is survived by daughters, Sheri and Stacie and spouses Sheri and Mike, 7 grandchildren, Christi, Amber, Summer, Heather, Alex, Jeff and Sam and 5 great-grandchildren, sisters Judy and Gayle and brother, Doug. She was predeceased by her son, Buck. A Celebration of Life service will be held Tuesday. January 19, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Woodstock Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Brian Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park in Canton, Georgia. The family will receive friends Monday, January 18, 2016 from 4 until 8 pm at the funeral home.
