Mrs. Thelma P. Ellis, age 101, of Woodstock, Georgia passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at the Woodstock Nursing Home in Woodstock. She is survived by her three daughters, Mary Ellen Pruitt of Woodstock, Marie Baggett of Austell and Thelma Wynelle Frazier of Woodstock. She had thirteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren,great-great grandchildren nieces and nephews. Mrs. Thelma enjoyed life and was very active until the last few weeks of her life. She loved to sew and she loved flowers and working in the garden. Mrs. Thelma was a long time member of New Home Baptist Church in Woodstock. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, September 29, 2011 at New Home Baptist Church. Rev. Vernie Worley, Rev. Calvin Grogan and Rev. Stanley Pruitt will officiate. Interment will follow in the New Home Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 28, 2011 from 2 until 8 PM at the funeral home.
