Theodora Beverly Marinetto

Theodora B. Marinetto, 80, of Springfield, passed away on Oct, 4 in Woodstock, Ga. Her friends knew her as Teddi. Teddi was born in Springfield to Enrico and Rose Yacovone. She was a wife, of 22 years, to Mario A. Marinetto. She was a secretary for the City of Springfield Planning Department for 18 years. She served on the Board of Directors for Manor Court. She served as a member of the Board of Directors for United Cerebral Palsy’s telephone volunteers. Teddi volunteered, over the years, for many causes, fundraisers, and events. She will be remembered for her servitude and her kind heart. Teddi is preceded in death by; her father, Enrico Yacovone, her mother, Rose Cellilli Yacovone, former husband, Mario A. Marinetto, and her nephew, Dino Yacovone. Teddi loved to laugh and enjoyed spending time with her family. Teddi is survived by her children; Marisa and Scott Creekmore, Stephen and Kim Marinetto. By her brother, Ron Yacovone. By her grandchildren, Macie (17), Lucas (13) and Gianna (11), and by her niece, Gina and her husband, Joe Barrett, and her great nephew, Vincent (7). Teddi will be having a private service for immediate family. We wish to extend our sincere gratitude to all her friends and family who have brought her love, joy, prayer and laughter and to Compassus Hospice for their tender care. Teddi will be greatly missed.
