Veronica Zuras

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church with Father John M. Matejek officiating. Burial will follow in Cheatham Hill Cemetery, Marietta. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 9, 2012 from 6-8 P.M. at Woodstock Funeral Home.

Mrs. Zuras was born May 16, 1932 in Paterson, New Jersey to the late William and Ann Chernalis. She was a parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Kennesaw, GA and was also a member of the 3rd Order Franciscans.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Paul Zuras, a sister, Joan Dunn, and two brothers, Bill and Joseph Chernalis.

Survivors include her three daughters; Anne O’Connell (husband Colman), Inman, SC, Kathleen Schlenz (husband Tim), Virginia, Maria Tanko (husband Tim), Kennesaw, GA, two sons, Michael Zuras, Kennesaw, GA, John Zuras (wife Linda), Roswell, GA, three sisters; Dorothy Mitchell, Theresa Spinnler, and Ann Tirri, one brother, Anthony Chernalis, grandchildren; John Michael Zuras, Tim Schlenz, Joseph Schlenz, Teresa Calloway, Peter Schlenz, Brendan O’Connell, Daniel O’Connell, and Christine O’Connell, Tim Tanko, Jr., Katherine
