Ann was born on December 6, 1933 in Jamaica, New York. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature at Marymount College in Tarrytown, New York and traveled throughout Europe before starting her career as an Executive Assistant at General Electric Company in Manhattan. It was here that she met her former husband, the late Everett (Ev) Lloyd Murch. After living in New York and Boston, she and Ev relocated to Worthington, Ohio with their four children.
In keeping with her Irish heritage, Ann very much possessed the “gift of the gab” and never met a stranger. She was known for her fantastic sense of humor and for being an extraordinary storyteller. In addition to volunteering for many years at the American Cancer Society Thrift Shop in Worthington, Ann enjoyed many hobbies such as travel and playing bridge and could always be found engrossed in a good book. But nothing was more important to her than her family. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest pride and joy.
Ann is survived by her children Richard (Janet) Murch, Amy Murch and Kevin (Elizabeth) Murch, daughter-in-law Natalie Murch, and her grandchildren Alexandra (Hailey) Murch, Andrea (Gabe) Reinoehl, Matthew Murch, Maxwell Murch and Madeline Murch.
She was preceded in death by her parents Robert Leo Conlon and Marie Cadden Conlon of Rhode Island and her son Robert Everett Murch of Ohio.
Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 22 at Schoedinger Worthington 6699 N. High St., Worthington, OH 43085 followed by a graveside service at Resurrection Cemetery at 9571 N. High St., Lewis Center, OH 43035.
