Betty Jo Page, also known as BJ, age 81, passed away on January 4, 2026, in Hilliard, Ohio. She was born on December 15, 1944, in Kingsport, Tennessee, to Monnie Elizabeth (Shelton) and Floyd Odell Williams.
Betty was a high school graduate and spent much of her life as a devoted homemaker. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—especially her love for cats, cheering on the Buckeyes, listening to music, and surrounding herself with the Santa Claus collection she cherished almost as much as she cherished the Christmas Holiday.
Those who knew Betty will fondly remember her quick wit, warm sense of humor, and the laughter she brought into every room.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Owen, Bob, Glen, Dr. Shelton, and David; her sister Monnie; her son Kenneth Ray Lester; her step-son Jack Page; and her beloved cats, Bruzer and Cruzer.
Betty is survived by her loving family: her daughter Lisa (Charles) Burke; her son Charles Lester; her daughter Amy; her step-daughter Jami Page; her grandchildren Dustin (Adriana) Lester, Ryan Lester, and Tyler Bradley; her great-grandchildren Reese and Jett; her sister-in-law Becky Williams of Beavercreek, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.
Betty Jo Page will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her humor, kindness, and joyful spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
She will be inurned in Price Cemetery in Essex, OH. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for a later date.
