Eric S. Kelley

Eric Stuart Kelley (46) of Worthington, Ohio, died peacefully surrounded by family on October 2, 2023, at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on April 17, 1977, to Clyde and Merry Kelley and was raised in Ottawa, Illinois eventually landing back in Columbus, Ohio where he spent the rest of his days.

Eric loved the OSU Buckeyes, the Chicago Cubs, live music, traveling to the beach (where he lived his best life), mastering the art of grilling, and frequenting local spots to share his contagious laughter and smile with all.

Eric is survived by his devoted wife, Denise, son Layne Kelley (Charles), cherished and adored four-legged buddies: Sarge (RIP) and Chester, parents Merry and Clyde Kelley, brother Brian (Brandi) Kelley and sisters Carrie Kelley and Merry Beth DeBernardi (John), nieces and nephews Christian (Ashley), Cameryn (Blake), Hannah, Jake (Zoe), Elena, Hank and Ireland, great nieces, and great nephew Malia Mae, Marlie and Lincoln and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.

Service to celebrate the life of Eric will be at Schoedinger Worthington on October 5, 2023, Visiting Hours: 11:00 am-1:00 pm; Funeral Service beginning at 1:00 pm. Please join us directly following for a gathering at Ville Charmante Club House, 135 Saint Michelle Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085
