Frank V. Swinehart

Frank V. Swinehart, 77 of Ft. Mill, SC formerly of Worthington, OH died December 20, 2024 at Select Specialty Hospital, Victorian Village. He was born June 5, 1947 to the late Paul and Laberta (Williams) Swinehart.

Survivors include his children, Dustin (Betty) Swinehart, Nathan (David) Sandhart, Ashley (Dave) Peterson; grandchildren, Tyler, Bryce, Dylan, Avary Swinehart, Anna, William Peterson; brothers and sisters, Debbie (Jack) Manter, Ronnie Swinehart, Paula (John) Gozs, Genevieve "Gigi" (Alan) Nusbaum and Don Swinehart; many cousins including very close cousin Phil (Pat) Swinehart; beloved friend Joyce Burchfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Dorothy Swinehart; and sister, Marjorie Stone.

Frank was the cornerstone of our family. He was a loving husband, a proud father, and a dedicated grandfather, always putting the needs of his family above all else. His sense of humor was infectious. Whether through a clever joke or a lighthearted moment, he knew how to bring smiles to our faces, even during the toughest of times.

After graduating from The Ohio State University in 1972, Frank devoted his professional life to healthcare administration, where he made a lasting impact on countless lives and communities. A dedicated family man, his strength, wisdom, and kindness will forever be remembered, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of his children, grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Schoedinger Worthington. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
