Jay Thomas Crank

Jay Thomas Crank, 78, went home to meet his Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, December 20, 2021. Jay was born on June 10, 1943 to Jasper Calvin Crank and Mildred Louise Crank Sheline, who preceded him in death.

In 1962 he married Juanita Carson and together they raised their daughter Cassandra Lynn (son in love, Robert) Johnson, son Thomas Edward (daughter in love, Erin) Crank.

He was also loved by many including his 5 grandchildren and 2 grandsons in love,

Christopher (Lindsay) Cheeseman, Chelsea (Taylor) Shelton, Anna (Mike) Neely,

Matthew Jay Johnson, William Robert Johnson; sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Jay owned two agencies during his 55 year insurance career, Insurance Unlimited Agency and Jay T Crank Insurance.

Jay had a heart to support charities and ministries that served and cared for those in need such as Veterans, children including the Unborn and ministries that shared the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ such as Samaritan's Purse and Finish Line Ministries. A Graveside service will be held 10:00 am Tuesday January 4th, 2022 with Military Honors in the chapel at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 E Broad St., Columbus, OH 43213. Immediately following the Graveside service friends and family are invited to Grace Polaris Church 8225 Worthington Galena Rd., Westerville, OH 43081 where a celebration of life service will be held at 1:00pm. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00pm until time of service.
