Jeffrey A Riley passed away peacefully on Jan 22, 2025. Jeff was born in Columbus Ohio on July 7, 1963. He is survived by his wife Kathleen of 27 years and his children, Braden and Meghan. Jeff is also survived by his mother Judith Riley and his brother Keith Riley (Cindy). In addition, Jeff is survived by wonderful nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Jeff was a social studies teacher at Olentangy High School for 33 years. He was the head baseball coach from 1987-2001. He also coached basketball, lacrosse, and golf. Jeff spent several years coaching Braden and Meghan’s travel baseball and basketball teams. He touched the lives of many in all his different endeavors. Jeff had an adventurous spirit and loved to travel and explore. He loved going to Chicago Cubs games and loved live music. He loved the beach, the ocean, the mountains, and being outdoors.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Olentangy High School from 3 PM to 7 PM, with a remembrance ceremony starting at 5 o’clock in the theater. (675 Lewis Center Rd., Lewis Center, OH).
