Jon Jay

He was born on Monday December 23rd, 1957 at LakeEast Hospital in Painesville, Ohio.

He grew up in Willoughby, Ohio where he developed a love for music, animals and sports.

Later, he moved to Worthington, Ohio where his Grandmother lived. It was there he met his wife and they started a family.

Jon had many passions, including playing the guitar, watching football (lifelong Browns and Buckeyes fan), spending time with his family and Grandson and his strong faith in the Lord.

He will be remembered for his gracious personality, entertaining sense of humor and comforting nature.

Jon is survived by his loving daughter Nichole, son-in-law Michael and grandson Gabriel. Also his brothers Rob (Lori), Joel and Jeff, and nieces Chelsea and Rachel.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Laurie and his parents, J. Robert Jay, “Bob” and Wilhelmina Jay, “Billie”.

Jon's family invites you to remember and celebrate his life. All are welcome. Bring photos, stories & memories to share! Lunch will be provided.

Following the memorial, there will be a short service at Union Cemetery.
