On June 10th Judith K. Mantor, a mother, grandmother, and friend to so many, passed away peacefully while living at her daughter Melony, and son-in-law Adolfo (AC)’s home in Sunbury Ohio, where she enjoyed the nightly ritual of being served all the praline ice cream she could hold. Judith worked for the City of Worthington Engineering Department for 35 years, a job she loved, and where many had the opportunity to meet this wonderful woman. She was born in Georgia, and later met her husband, Niles W. Mantor Sr., while she was attending college, in Jacksonville Florida. They were married, and after having their first child, moved to Worthington, Ohio, where she would spend the rest of her remaining years. Judith, who went by Judee, was cherished by family and friends alike! Her positive and upbeat outlook on life brought a smile to all that were in her presence. Judee had two son’s, Niles Jr., who had a son, Niles III. Her other son, Michael, prior to his current wife, Amora had three daughters, Hannah, Naomi, and Ava, and a son, Caleb. Judee’s daughter, Melony prior to her current husband AC had a daughter, Madison, and a son Brady. Judee’s children, grandchildren, and friends brought her much joy! Judee was a Born again Christian, and loved spending time in prayer, with her Lord and Savior. She also enjoyed going on long drives in the country. This amazing mother, grandmother, and friend will certainly be missed by all, who were privileged to have known her.
