If you knew Lynn, you knew her passion for the Dave Matthews Band. Music was an integral part of her life and she knew the DMB concerts and sets like some people know football. Her last adventure was a trip to Florida this past May to see her favorite band in the company of close friends. When Lynn wasn’t listening to DMB, you could find her tuning into politics, court TV, or her favorite guilty pleasure – 90-Day Fiancé. Apart from her shows, her heart held a special place for the classic, The Wizard of Oz. Lynn was an avid sports fan. Space was always reserved for cheering on her Carolina Panthers, Cleveland Cavaliers, and of course The Thundering Herd of Marshall University.
After receiving her associate degree at Marshall University, Lynn continued her studies at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. There, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Criminal Justice. Lynn worked in the paralegal field much of her career. She was most proud of achieving her professional goal of becoming the Legal Operations Lead & Senior Paralegal for IGS. Lynn also pursued her love of photography and enjoyed taking candid photos of friends, family, and nature.
Lynn will be greatly missed by her wife, Christy; children, Katelyn, Sam and Jackson, and fur babies Shelby, Lucy and Charlie. Lynn is predeceased by her father, Samuel. She is survived by her mother, Delores (Dearing), sister Marsha (Armaray) Campbell, nieces whom she loved as her own daughters, Marshauna, Amauria, and Malauna, and her great nephew Justice. She also leaves behind many friends and extended family members who loved her dearly.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm Sunday, August 18, 2024 at Schoedinger Worthington.
