Martin "Andy" Smith

Born on December 27, 1962, Andy graduated from Columbus Alternative High School (Class of 1982) and dedicated more than 35 years to helping people live longer, healthier lives through his work at Palmetto GBA (Medicare).

Andy was known for his quick wit, quiet generosity and signature t-shirts that always brought a smile to the faces of his family and friends. He had a passion for making the holidays larger than life, thanks to his collection of vibrant decorations, and was always up for a late-night Target run or day trip to Amish Country. Whatever the occasion, it was only a matter of time until his trademark chuckle filled the air.

Andy was preceded in death by his father, Rodney, and his oldest brother, Mark. He is survived by his loving mother, Sharon, his brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Hilda, his sister, Michelle and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to gather in remembrance on Tuesday, December 9, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Schoedinger Funeral Home, 6699 N. High St., Worthington, OH 43085. A funeral service celebrating Andy's life will follow at 2pm.
