

He was preceded in death by his father Creatore Albert Marchetto, mother: Mary Virginia (Fetter) Marchetto, a daughter, granddaughter and his brother-in-law. He is survived by his spouse: Jacquelyn (Parker) Marchetto, son: Michael II, 3 daughters: Stephanie, Lamonica, Camika, 4 grandsons, a great granddaughter, and sister. He is also survived by 3 sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, son-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews.
Michael graduated from the University of Notre Dame where he was in their marching band. He received a degree in Political Science. He also attended The Ohio State University and received a degree in Preventive Medicine. He completed his education at Capital University College of Law with a Juris Doctor. He was an educator at the Department of Youth Services and later worked at the Ohio Department of Health in Administration until he retired.
Michael's first love was his family which he showed in many ways. He was a lover of sports which he passed on to his children, and he was always on the field with them encouraging them in any way he could. He was an intellectual person who was a prolific reader, building his personal library, always seeking new knowledge. He was also a devoted Catholic which became more important to him, as time passed. He loved to share this love with others.
