

Patty was born in 1934 and reared in Southern Ohio (Portsmouth). After working for the FBI in Washington DC, she returned to the Buckeye State and began her career in banking.
In 1954, she accepted a position with the Security Central National Bank in Portsmouth working through almost all phases of banking for the next 25 years. It was here she met and married her husband, Jack. In 1982, Jack became Regional Manager for the Huntington National Bank and President of their Chillicothe office. After moving to Chillicothe, Patty became involved in Real Estate and was affiliated with Better Homes and Gardens. She also volunteered teaching handicapped children swimming and became an avid tennis player.
Upon retirement, Jack and Patty moved to Sarasota Florida where they had spent their honeymoon and vowed to return one day to live. It is called “paradise“ and truly is. Patty became active once again in the banking world and accepted a position as Assistant to the Senior Vice President, Sun Trust Bank.  While in Sarasota, she volunteered at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Hospice of Sarasota, and helped to feed the Hungary through the First United Methodist Church, where she was a member and also continued to enjoy tennis.
In 2007, after the death of her husband and at the urging of her family, she returned to Ohio and found her “niche” in The Woodlands at Ballantrae, Dublin Ohio. Eventually, she retired to Friendship Village of Dublin in 2016 where she lived until her death. She will be laid to rest beside her husband Jack at a grave side service at Memorial Burial Park 10556 Gallia Pike Road, Wheelersburg, Ohio 45694 United States Coordinates: 38.71220, -82.85140 on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 1 PM.
