Rebecca L Jett

“Becky” was born in Greenville, OH on August 22,1979 to parents Paula (Robert) Hesson of Greenville, and Scott Jett of Aptos, CA. She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Dr. Paul and Charme Caris, paternal grandfather Daniel Jett, sister Stacey Pond, aunts Deana Joseph and Patty Jett.

She was a 1997 graduate of Greenville High School and graduated from Columbus State with an Associate’s Degree. She worked as a paralegal.

The greatest joy of Becky’s life was her son Noah for whom she was a devoted mother. She was an avid reader; books brought her comfort, escape, and happiness. She had a deep love for all animals, but especially cherished cats.

Becky was witty, kind, smart and an adored friend to many. She was a hard worker and will be remembered for her strength and love for her family.

She is survived by her beloved son Noah Moraza (Worthington, OH); grandmother Mary Jett (Greenville, OH); loving companion Gregg Kurtz (Columbus,OH); sisters Angela Jett (San Francisco, CA); Sunni Jett (Chad Ogden, Savannah, GA); Sherri Jackson (Angela, Fairborn, OH); and Marcy Jett (Celina, OH); uncles and aunts Steve and Brigitte Caris (Greenville, OH); Robert and Debbie Caris (Westerville, OH); Jill Jett (Greenville, OH); nephew Ethan and nieces Courtney, Lilly, Hannah, Savannah, Amelia, Emberly, Zoë and numerous cousins.

Becky lives on in the hearts of her family. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, April 6 at 11am at Schoedinger Worthington located at 6699 High St., Worthington, OH 43075.
