Richard Charles Brahm

Richard Brahm was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 29, 1945 and died at his home in Powell, Ohio on April 6, 2022 at the age of 77 years old. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Dorothy Brahm.

He is survived by his wife, Emily; son, Michael; daughter, Jennifer (Eric) Hemstreet; grand-daughters, Morgan and Avery Brahm and Abigail Hemstreet; Sister-in-Law, Rita Deters and Nephews, Joe and Mark Deters.

Richard was a graduate of the University of Cincinnati. After earning his Law Degree he practiced law for the US Department of Agriculture; The Attorney General’s Office and other various law firms in Columbus for 46 years. He was a member of The Columbus Bar Association as well as Ohio State Bar Association.

Mr. Brahm enjoyed spending time on vacations with family and with the grand-children, especially vacations at the beach. He enjoyed reading and old cars.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Services entrusted to SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON, 6699 North High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085. Visitation will be on Sunday April 10th from 12noon - 2PM and 4pm-6pm. A funeral Mass will take place on Monday April 11th at Resurrection Cemetery Chapel at 11am.
