Sarah Jane Foor

Sarah Jane (Kuesel) Foor died at home on Saturday March 7, 2026, in Westerville, Ohio surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 75. Sarah was born on October 23, 1950, in Columbus, Ohio to Frank and Druscilla Kuesel. Sarah attended Worthington High School and graduated in 1968. Sarah worked for many years at Erie Insurance and treasured the friends she made and continued those friendships long after retirement. Sarah was a true friend and treasured the friendships she made along the way.

Sarah is survived by her loving husband of almost 55 years, Howard O. Foor, teaching everyone around them the best example of true love. Together they have three daughters, Elizabeth Lloyd (Cory), Carrie Swinehart (Ryan), Emily Lacher (Todd); her grandchildren, Peyton (Michaela), Jules, Izac, Abby, Sarah, Samuel, Cooper, Madelyn, and great-granddaughter Marlow and great-grandson JJ. She is also survived by her brother Frank Kuesel (Bill), Peggy Hogan, Nancy Port (Randy) and numerous nieces and nephews. Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, sister Karin Rash, and mother-in-law Jean Foor.

Sarah was an amazing wife, mother, Mimi, sister, and friend. She loved all her cats and dogs throughout the years. Sarah was a golfer and loved golfing with her family and being outdoors. Sarah was most happy outside taking care of her flower gardens, playing golf, and lounging in her pool. She loved to host get togethers and was happiest sitting by her pool with a margarita or a glass of wine with Howard, good friends, her sisters, or daughters. Sarah loved to be a Mimi to her grandkids and didn’t miss an opportunity to babysit or attend their sporting events. She was an example of how to live life, giving and caring for others and is already deeply missed, especially by Howard, her soulmate.
