Stephen Lazaroff

Stephen Lazaroff, 88, of Columbus, passed away on August 2, 2023. He was born on February 25, 1935, in Massillon, to the late Paul and Mary (Madved) Lazaroff. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Lazaroff; and his sister, Sylvia Lazaroff.

Stephen graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, where he was a member of the basketball team. Following graduation he worked for Rockwell as an Engineer and would later retire from Anheuser-Busch where he was a brew master.

In his free time, Stephen loved to Golf. He would play at Raymond Golf Course four times a week and also crafted the art of making his own golf clubs. Stephen and his wife Charlotte enjoyed to spend time together, in the winter they would migrate to Englewood Florida and they would go to Las Vegas two times a year to play the slots.

Stephen will be greatly missed by his children, Lynn (Evan) Jones and Leslie (Michael) Anderson; grandchildren, Kara Jones, Kylie (Kevin) Ireland, Kelsey (Kevin) Jones-Reik, Paige (Gabe) Genovesi, and Julia and Ian Anderson; great-grandchildren, Evelyn Ireland; and numerous extended family and close family friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 14, 2023, from 11:30am until 12:30pm, where a Funeral Service will follow at 12:30pm, at the Schoedinger Worthington Funeral Home, 6699 North High Street, Worthington OH, 43085.
