In his early career he designed sewage treatment plants for many of Ohio’s state parks. As a dedicated Professional Engineer with the City of Columbus for twenty-five years, he worked to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the city's water supply and was particularly proud of Project 88.
Beyond his professional achievements, Bill was known for his sharp mind and unwavering love for his family. He was always ready to share advice or a story with those around him. He was passionate about his family, the Democratic party, civil rights, and the environment. In his later years, he took special joy in visiting local parks and writing letters to the editor.
A celebration of life for family and friends will be held Friday, January 31, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at the Forum at Knightsbridge (4625 Knightsbridge Blvd, Columbus).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Bill’s memory.
