So sorry to hear about Uncle Bill . it definitely changed my life forever when I lost my parents and Marabeth.  Hug those family members as close to you as you can and spoil those Grand Babies! Uncle Bill taught me how to water ski with the alligators in the Intracoastal Waterways. I was so scared at the time! Now we take our family to Bass Lake every year for our family vacations. Love to you all and would love to stay in touch, Scott and Angela.......

Even though I live here in Florida,  I had a premonition recently about Bill and then just read this.  The references to his Faith are accurate.  What a great Christian and friend.  Greatly missed by all, but wonderful to know we can see him again.

Thank you to the entire Price family for allowing me to be a small part of the CBC family. I was fortunate to be employed while Bill, Wink, Benjy and Jonathan were running the various businesses. Over the 28 years, I benefited greatly from all of your and other mentors’ guidance and experience. 

Today’s (4/17/2025) memorial was beautiful, meaningful and uplifting. It’s not often to leave a funeral service feeling hopeful and happy. This was a true “celebration of life”.

Bill Price is a friend and a brother who loved the Lord deeply.  He gave of himself and of his family to see the Gospel go out to all parts of the world. His relationship with Word of Life was much appreciated and looked up to by many of our ministry leaders. His smile shined to all around him.  My prayers are for you the family.  I was already committed to a teen event on Thursday early afternoon before I heard of his home-going and the date of his Celebration of Life Service.

Bill would always give me a minute or two of his time when I would see him at the CBC offices. His reputation preceded him.. you just knew you were in the presence of a man with a great reputation, integrity and a love of Christ. I'll see you someday in glory and we'll talk some more! My thoughts and prayers of comfort go out to the whole Price family during this difficult time.  I have fond childhood memories at CCC with the Price Family and many years and stories of relationships with my father Charles A Dozer, grandfather Charles W Dozer and the Price family at CBC Companies.  I have to smile thinking of some of the stories told by Dave Bringardner and later Dave Martin of those days years ago at CBC.  My banking days at Jefferson Savings Bank are long in my past, but still in my memories, and those stories of early CBC days are special.  Again, I am praying for comfort for the Price family and this wonderful legacy Bill has left.

I can personally speak to the generosity and spiritual devotion of Bill and his amazing wife, Mary Jo. They invested in and believed in me before I even know how to do anything for myself. Because of such faithful ministry, I was introduced to and able to attend Word of Life Bible Institute. Miraculously, I was even able to go on the Israel trip that year (2000) and to my great delight and surprise, Bill and Mary Jo were not only on the same trip- they were on my bus! If it weren’t for Bill’s passion and faithfulness, carried into my life by his energetic and loyal partner, I would be an entirely different person. There are staple people who create the necessary forks in the road of your life… and they make all the difference. Every good thing I do in this world is to the credit of such people. Bill Price is certainly one of them! May the legacy of this heart carry on through me and all the generations the Price’s lives have and will touch! And may their blessings be a thousand fold! Amen.

I told my husband, Bill, about your open letter noting the passing of your father. He asked me to pass along the following message:

“Xu told me about your open letter regarding the passing of your father. It was a beautiful tribute to a great man—one who also anchored his life in our Lord.  I Thess. 4:13 came to mind that because of Christ and our future resurrection we do not grieve like those who do not have that hope.  The Puritan preacher, Thomas Brooks, in 1726 preached a funeral sermon on Phil. 1:21 (“For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”)  In a stroke of genius he titled the sermon “The believer’s last day, his best”.  Knowing that your dad as you noted is now face to face with the Lord and that one day will have a resurrected body to live on the new heavens and new earth is no doubt what Paul had in mind.  Furthermore, to be reunited with you and others who love the Lord is such a great comfort.  Xu is a beneficiary of his legacy passed along thru his son.  Many blessings,

We are thinking of you and your family.

I first met Bill and Mary Jo during the celebration of Bill's 65th anniversary with CBC Companies and the Company's 75th anniversary in Columbus, OH.  I enjoyed hearing all of the stories of such a wonderful family.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of the Price family during this difficult time. Peace be with you.

My wife and  I first met Bill and Mary-Jo in Yangon, Myanmar in 2003 and later in Viet Nam where we were living as missionaries. Bill and Mary-Jo were all encouragement from the moment we met, and that encouragement has continued ever since.  Their impact on our ministry in Myanmar and Viet Nam has enabled nearly three million people to hear the gospel.   The great thing about the Christian life is that we can rejoice together for eternity.

And Bill is there  now, "in fullness of joy" (Ps 16:11). Praise God.

Bill was one of my dearest and best friends. He helped mentor me in starting the Midwest Implant Institute, where many dentists learned to place dental implants and learned that Jesus could be used in Dentistry. Bill served on the Mii Board for many years. He was a trusted friend I could go to discuss any part of my life. Bill and I served together as Elders at Worthington Grace Brethren Church. Bill and Mary Jo supported Mayishare Ministries for many years, where we serve The Refuge Ministry for men of addiction.  Their support allowed for hundreds of books to be given to many people who had specific needs that a book would help them. I dedicated my last book to Bill as the man I admired and felt "Finished Well" in his journey with Christ.

Dear Mary Jo, Benjy, Jonathan, Mary, and Elizabeth, 

Please know that you are in our hearts and prayers at this time of loss.  We will miss Bill but on the other hand, he is now with his God and Savior the Lord Jesus Christ.  No more pain or suffering.  Praise God. 

Bill was one of our family; a close friend and one who took so much time and effort to help missionaries like us in Thailand.  Bill is responsible for much of the work for the Lord here.  We know he prayed for us and was personally interested in all the work he helped here.  

Bill traveled many times to see the work here in Thailand and firsthand know how he can help.  The work he loved will continue to expand to the glory of God.  His life has been and will continue to be a good example of how a godly businessman can so influence the work of God in many places.  Be assured, dear Mary Jo, and all in the family that our Lord God will give you peace and comfort during this time. 

During one of our short furloughs, Charlie called Bill and told him we could not visit you this time because we were only staying in Albuquerque for a few weeks.  He told us we would then visit you even for just a day.   After few days, he and Mary Jo arrived in Albuquerque. And what a joy to meet them at the airport.  We felt so encouraged and loved! That was a day we will never forget – a day of sweet fellowship, of sharing time and of prayer time together.  Precious memories.  

We love all of you and pray for you and your families every day.

I first met Bill and Mary Jo during the CBC 75th Anniversary celebration in Columbus, OH. As a new employee, I felt treated like family and will always remember the wonderful conversations and stories we shared. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time.

On Sunday, April 13, 2025, the second most influential man in my career and life, William B. Price, passed on to Glory. I first met Bill in 1987 when he was the chairman of the Central Ohio Men’s Conference and CBC Companies. I oversaw promotion for the event. Bill pulled me aside after one of our planning meetings and said, “I could use someone like you working for my company.” The rest was history…I ended up working for Bill and his sons (3) for almost 35 years.  There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t reflect on some aspect of my time with the Prices and their personal and professional relationship with me. The song written and sung by Kris Kristofferson “Why Me Lord”, accurately expresses my gratefulness to Bill and his family. Bill and I will see each other again.
