Angela Marie Holeman-Long, age 44, passed away suddenly on September 4, 2019 in Yakima, Washington. Her family takes comfort in knowing she died doing one of the activities she loved most – riding her motorcycle.
Angela was a free spirit who lived her life embracing adventure and relishing new challenges. While she enjoyed meeting people, it paled in comparison to her meeting new animals, particularly dogs. Our hearts are filled with joy knowing she has been reunited with the loves of her life… Guapito, Fredo, Woody, Gus Gus and Winston. Oh, the reunion they must be having!!!
Angela lived her life according to a specific set of rules… Angela’s rules! She found happiness in even the smallest ways: sleeping in, wearing a flannel onesie while curled up with a good book, snuggling with a dog, making beautiful jewelry, and eating candy for breakfast. In fact, her affinity for candy as opposed to regular food was awe-inspiring. Angela’s zest for life allowed her to experience more in 44 years than most people do in 80! From obtaining a BA in Criminal Justice to earning her real estate license, Angela pursued every goal with tenacious determination.
Angela is survived by her mother Cecilia Harrison, siblings Andrea Holeman-Warren (Brian) and Stanley Neil Holeman Jr., all of Yakima, Washington. She is also survived by her boyfriend Armando Alcala and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents. Angela was preceded in death by her father, Stanley Neil Holeman Sr.
A “Celebration of Life” service is being held at Wiley Union Church on September 21, 2019 at 11 a.m. with a luncheon immediately following. As Angela would say… “It’s go time!”
