It is with great sadness that the family of Barbara Carter, Catron announces her passing on July 19 of 2018 at the age of 79. Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her four sons: Don Catron of Yakima, Brian Catron of Spokane, Dave Catron of Union Gap, and Steve (Debbie) Catron of Yakima. She will also be missed by her 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, many cherished nieces and nephews, and her sister Thelma Catron. Barb was preceded in death by her mother, father, and 2 brothers: Blanche, Asa, Larry, and Gary Carter.
Barbara worked at McAllister Museum of Aviation for several years before volunteering at a senior companionship center for 10 years. Barb moved into the Rose of Mary Terrace Rentals where she met many new friends and enjoyed playing Yahtzee, Bingo, going to bible study, and movie nights.
