Barbara Joann Walsh

Barbara J. Walsh, peacefully passed away at her home on February 02,2025, with family by her side. Jesus gracefully came and took her to her heavenly home. She was born August 09,1932 in Brighton, Colorado to Carl and Barbara Wagner. She married her long time sweetheart, Lou Walsh, on December 27, 1950 who preceded her in death on February 12, 2009, along with her brother and sister-in law, Charles and Gladys Wagner and Louie Wagner.

Her life was a living example of how much she loved her life, her family and her Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. She was such a joyful loving person. She was also a hoot of a character - you just loved being around her! She was given the nickname “lucky” and boy did she show her stuff playing dominos.

Barbara was the very “first” homecoming queen of Toppenish high school, an auction buff, a great cook and a woman of great faith, which she passed on to her children which will last a lifetime. She will always be the “blessing” in our lives, today, tomorrow and forever.

To her children, family and friends, “Do not let your hearts be troubled”, for I am home!

Barbara is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Charlene and Hack Brown and brother, John Wagner; her 4 sons and their wives, Rick and Teri Walsh, Kimble and Kat Walsh, Steve Walsh, Carl and Kathy Walsh, and her 3 daughters; Lori Walsh-Maynard, Monie Walsh and Joan Walsh.

Barbara has 27 Grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren along with her many wonderful nephews and nieces. All of whom she loved dearly.

A visitation for Barbara will be held Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Langevin El Paraiso Funeral Home, 1010 West Yakima Ave, Yakima, WA 98902. A vigil service will occur Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM, 1010 West Yakima Ave, Yakima, WA 98902. A funeral service will occur Friday, February 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Paul Cathedral, 15 S 12th Ave, Yakima, WA 98902.
