
Barry Richard Vincent was born on April 16, 1945, in Menominee, Michigan, to Fred and Lucille Vincent. From an early age, Barry carried the strong work ethic and quiet determination that would define his life.
On July 27, 1965, Barry was inducted into the United States Army, answering the call to serve his country during the Vietnam War. He completed two tours in Vietnam, demonstrating extraordinary courage and resilience. For his bravery, he was awarded two Army Commendation Medals, a Purple Heart, and a Bronze Star. After active duty, Barry continued his service in the Army Reserves before later joining the United States Marine Corps Reserve, where he attained the rank of Sergeant. His military career reflected his deep patriotism, discipline, and unwavering commitment to his fellow service members.
Following his years in uniform, Barry built a successful career in automotive parts sales. His natural ability to connect with people, combined with his extensive knowledge and passion for cars, made him highly respected in the industry.
Beyond his professional life, Barry’s love of automobiles extended far beyond work. He had a lifelong passion for cars and enjoyed buying and selling them. He also thoroughly enjoyed buying and selling firearms and spending time at the shooting range, where he formed many valued friendships over the years.
Barry is survived by his devoted wife, Margaret; his daughter Sherry; his younger sister Cindy and his step-sons, Alan and Mike; and a large extended family and many dear friends whose lives were enriched by his strength, loyalty, and humor.
Barry fought his final battle on February 21, 2026, surrounded by family. His life was one of service, dedication, and deep love for those around him. He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
