

Bernard moved to Washington at the age of six and grew up in Sunnyside, WA. He graduated from Sunnyside High School and attended YVCC and graduated from City University.
He married Marilyn Pfau in 1960. They welcomed a daughter in 1961 and a son in 1963. They moved to Seattle in 1962 and lived there for 2 years, then moved to Yakima. Bernard worked for several companies doing accounting work. In 1987 he started his own accounting and income tax business. He retired in April 2015.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Evert and Helen Harrison; son, Gregory Harrison; brother, Maynard Harrison; brothers-in-law, Donovan Pfau and Donald Pfau. Bernard is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marilyn Harrison; daughter, Cherree Langford and son-in-law, Wayne; daughter-in-law, Edra Harrison; sister-in-law, Ramona Violette and brother-in-law, Norbert Pfau. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jennifer, Brandon, Danika, Jakob and Hannah, and three great grandchildren, Kaden, Chandler and Tenley.
The family wishes to thank all the wonderful staff at Good Samaritan Rehabilitation Center who took excellent care of him and all the doctors and nurses who treated him this past year.

Visitation will be offered from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Langevin El Paraiso Funeral Home with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
