It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Connie Kay Prickett. Connie passed away peacefully on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Parkside of Arcadia Medical Center after a long battle with COPD.
Connie was born on January 14, 1955, in Yakima, WA to Marvin and Pat Murphy. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Connie retired after working many years in the fruit industry. She enjoyed spending time in the mountains snowmobiling. The first snows of winter would find her riding her snowmobile on the trails. Snowmobiling was one of Connie’s favorite pastimes. She enjoyed snowmobiling for many years until her health would no longer let her participate.
Connie is survived by her husband and soulmate of 49 years, Dan Prickett; her daughter Michelle Harris (Kevin), grandson Tyler and granddaughter Taylor all of Yakima; her sister Terry of Oregon; three brothers, Mike Murphy (Carol), Ken Murphy, and Dan Murphy (Lori), all of Yakima; her mother in law Dolores Prickett of Union Gap; sister in law Denise Wilburn (Ted) of Yakima; brother in law Doug Prickett of Union Gap; and numerous nieces and nephews.
