

Dave Edward Trepanier 61, of Cowiche, Washington went to be with the Lord on December 1, 2024 after a brief battle with ALS. Dave was a beloved brother and uncle. He was born in Yakima, Washington on August 4, 1963.
Dave graduated from Highland High School in 1981 and never missed a day of school in 12 years. Dave loved sports; he excelled in basketball, football and tennis. After Graduation, he went to work for his dad Edward (Babe) for Trepanier excavating alongside his brothers Gary and Joe Trepanier for 30 years. It didn’t take long for Dave to pick up the art of driving Heavy equipment and trucks. He had great work ethic, which he inherited from his dad.
Dave bought the family home in 1999 from his beloved mother Charlotte. Dave’s dad Babe had built the home in the 50’s. Dave remolded the home from the ground up. Charlotte and Edward were proud of all the work Dave did on the home and how great it had turned out.
Dave had many hobbies; He loved riding his four-wheeler around the neighborhood and visiting with everyone along the way. He also enjoyed jet skiing, motorcycle riding and jeeping. He loved watching Nascar and the Seattle Seahawks. Dave had a love for animals especially dogs. One of his favorites was Lobo and the family dog named Rocky.
Above all, Dave will be remembered for his infectious smile and fun personality.
Preceded in death by his parents, mother Charlotte (Dean) Petty, His father Edward (Pauline) Trepanier, Bothers Jerry Trepanier and Gary Trepanier. His sister-in-law DeeDee Trepanier.
David is survived by his brothers Tom (Craig Wilson) Trepanier, Joe Trepanier, his nephews Trevor (Desiree) Trepanier, Tyler Trepanier, Trey (Courtney) Trepanier and niece Maisee Ann Trepanier and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to his close friends Clyde Friend and Mike Martin, they spent many hours trying to solve the world’s problems and then some. Also, thanks to his friends, Allen Carroll, Tim Dezsi.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 11:00am, at Keith & Keith Funeral Home Chapel, 902 W Yakima Ave. A Graveside service will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Memorial Hospital in Yakima, Memorial hospital in Tacoma and Kindred hospital in Seattle.
