Delores Gonzales Sanchez

Dolores graduated from Toppenish High School, and then went on to Y.V.C.C., followed by Western Washington University. She accomplished her major in elementary/special education. Dolores also worked with foster kids as a case worker for the Casy Family Foundation in Yakima.

On December 31, 1966, she married Oscar Molano. They brought three loving children into this world: Oscar Daniel Molano Jr., Janell Marie Molano, and Rosemary Behbahani.

Dolores enjoyed travel, adventure, music, church on Sunday, watching the program “The Hour of Power”, fishing, the great outdoors, and most of all family and friends.

Dolores remarried on September 8, 2007 to George Huerta Sanchez and they lived happily in Yakima until her untimely death.

Delores is survived by her husband George Sanchez, son Oscar Molano, daughters Janell Molano and Rose (Ryan) Behbahani, sisters Leonor (John) Appleby, Zuelma (Leo) Castellano and Gracie (Bob) Brown, brothers Roumaldo Guajardo, Lionel Guajardo, Eliberto Guajardo, and her mother Elisa Moralez.

Visitation will be held today at the Keith & Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel from Noon to 5pm. A Vigil Service will be held Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 6:00pm also at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church, Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 10:00am. Burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Toppenish, WA.
