Denise Louise Briscoe

She is survived by her husband Bryan Briscoe of Selah. Her parents, Allen and Sandra Russell of Yakima and a brother, Charles Russell of Henderson, Nevada. Denise was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Kathryn Russell.

Denise graduated from East Valley High School in 1986 and received a 2 year degree from Yakima Valley Community College. During her school years she was very active in drill team, basketball, soccer and 4H. While in college Denise worked at the Yakima Veterinary clinic and has been employed the past 17 years at DaVita Dialysis clinic. Her love of life and contagious laughter helped ease the difficulty that her patients are dealing with.

Denise was a member of St. Paul Cathedral, the WA State Snowmobilers Assoc, local ski benders club and the Yakima Valley Quilters Guild. She had a great love of the outdoors where she spent many days and hours snowmobiling, hiking and biking with Bryan and friends. She was also a avid gardener, under her watchful eye no plant went unattended.

In lieu of flowers donations may be may be made to the Cancer Society, Yakima Valley Humane Society or to the donors favorite charity.
